Now in his 27th year of coaching, Coach Stephen Bonnain shares his passion for the game and works tirelessly during practices, games, and lessons to ensure that each player has the opportunity to reach his highest potential.
At Premier Baseball of Texas in Tomball from 2014 to 2019, Coach Bonnain led multiple teams ranging in age from 9U to 18U, teaching the game of baseball to hundreds of athletes. In just his first spring season at Premier, his newly-formed 14U team won two Nations Baseball championships. Coach Bonnain’s emphasis at Premier was player development, and he helped players ranging in skill level from novice to college-bound improve both their physical skills and knowledge of how to play the game.
Coach Bonnain is also father to three, highly accomplished baseball players, all now graduated from high school. During their high school years, Stephen, Mark, and Dylan Bonnain were multi-year starters on their respective varsity baseball teams, with each garnering All-District honors. His oldest sons Stephen and Mark both received college baseball scholarships, while youngest son Dylan excelled at both football and baseball.
When not coaching or teaching baseball, Coach Bonnain can be found playing baseball with his men’s senior league team. He also serves the game of baseball as an umpire.
