Bonnain Baseball Academy

Bonnain Baseball Academy was formed in 2019 with the goal of training the best athletes as they pursue their dreams, and meet their goals on the baseball field.

The vision of Stephen Bonnain, and honed by 28 years of experience, BBA aims to help players not only develop their full playing potential, but to learn to be confidence in their abilities on and off the field.

Stephen Bonnain

Stephen Bonnain currently runs the Bonnain Baseball Academy LLC and overseesall coaching staff at every age group along with operations of the Academy. In his 28 years of coaching and playing the game of baseball, he also currently coaches his 14u group of boys that has been with him for the past 3 years. Some starting with Coach Bonnain at the age of 11, alongside some that have been with him since they were 8 years old, and some that have followed him from other facilities he has coached at.

Coach B is a highly respected coach and widely known by many for his old school coaching methods. Stephen has formally worked for Premier Baseball of Texas for 5 years coaching 8u and developmental players all the way up to the collegiate level. His knowledge and hands-on training ability can easily match any of the high profile coaches around.

Coach B, still to this day, is playing the game of baseball after falling in love with it as a teenager. Throughout his 47 years he has had the pleasure of raising 3 sons of his own; Stephen, Mark, and Dylan Bonnain. All three boys were highly accompanied baseball players throughout their careers earning full ride scholarships at Tritan College in Chicago, North Central Texas in Gainsville, and Blinn College in Brenham.

He has the up most respect for the parents, players, umpires, and the game and expects this from all employee and player representatives of BBA on and off the field.

Coach B not only teaches the basics of baseball to young minds but he also molds them into talented baseball players along with being respectful individuals for life itself. He believes that baseball is a great teacher of failure, frit, and humbleness, discipline, and honor.
